This savory chicken salad is by far my favorite. I'm a huge fan of chicken salad and have tried many variations over the years. This recipe with simple, refreshing flavors and great texture is wonderful on a sandwich or served over a bed of lettuce.
Ingredients
- skinless, boneless chicken breast halves: 2 piece (cut into cubes, cooked)
- stalks celery: 3 piece (diced)
- pecans: 0.75 cup (chopped)
- mayonnaise: 0.5 cup
- yellow onion: 2 Tbsp (minced)
- ½ tablespoons sweet pickle relish: 1 piece
- prepared mustard: 2 tsp
- ½ teaspoons ground black pepper: 1 piece
- ½ teaspoons minced fresh dill: 1 piece
- lemon juice: 1 tsp
- white sugar: 0.5 tsp
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- garlic powder: 0.5 tsp
- paprika: 0.5 tsp

Stir together chicken, celery, pecans, mayonnaise, onion, relish, mustard, pepper, dill, lemon juice, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and paprika in a large bowl until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
