Stages of cooking
-
Pre-heat the oven to 230 C (450 F). Mix flour with water to get batter. Take 1/3 of batter and spread it across the frying pan. Fry the crepe on small fire for about 3-4 minutes. The edges should curl up a bit and become light brown. Do not turn the crepe on the second side.
-
Cut the bacon into thin strips and fry on medium fire for about 10 minutes to make it a bit crispy.
-
Drain the bacon strips on paper towels to get rid of extra oil.
-
Saute onions in the same frying pan for about 3-5 minutes until it softens. Let the onion cool down.
-
Mix onion with crème fraiche then and spread above the crepe.
-
Add bacon, press it down with a spoon a bit and bake for about 15 minutes.
-
That’s it! Your onion and bacon tart is ready! You can dredge it with minced chives and serve! Bon appétit!
