Ingredients
- pasta: 200 g (angel hair pasta will work best here)
- shrimp: 400 g (raw, peeled and deveined)
- tomatoes: 4 piece (medium-sized)
- garlic: 3 clove (minced)
- basil: 0.3 cup (fresh and torn into pieces)
- olive oil: 3 Tbsp
- salt: 0.5 tsp (to your taste)
- black pepper: 1 pinch (to your taste)

Take a large pot and fill it with water. Bring the water to a boil. Take a knife and make long cuts on the tomatoes.

As soon as the water starts boiling, put the tomatoes into the pot and blanch them for about 40-50 seconds. Then take them away from the pot using a slotted spoon and put them into the icy water you should prepare in advance. Peel off the skins and cut the tomatoes into halves. Squeeze the juice and seeds from them and chop the tomatoes afterwards. Don’t get rid of the water you used for blanching.

Then heat a sauté pan on medium fire and add one tablespoon of olive oil into it. Add the shrimps into the pot and fry for about 1 minute. Turn the shrimps onto another side and reduce the heat to the minimum.
