The recipe of pork chop stuffed with cabbage will not leave indifferent those people, who like meat dishes and wish to taste something new. This dish resembles those served in restaurants, so you are welcome to cook it for your festive table!  

Ingredients

  • pork: 4 piece (steaks)
  • onion: 1 piece
  • garlic: 3 clove
  • sour cabbage: 130 g
  • soy sauce: 2 Tbsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • dry bread crumbs: 50 g
  • bacon: 100 g

  1. Cut four pork steaks into halves, but do not cut them until the end. Look at the photo to see how the steaks should look like.

  2. Cover each pork steak with food wrap and pound it carefully.

  3. Chop onion and garlic. Cut the bacon into small pieces. Fry the ingredients on oil until they become light golden. Then add sour cabbage and continue stewing for about 10-15 minutes. Leave the stuffing to cool down a bit.

  4. Then stuff the pork steaks with the stewed cabbage.

  5. Attach the edges of each steak with the toothpicks. Cover each piece with soy sauce on both sides.

  6. Add salt to the dry bread crumbs and dredge the stuffed pork steaks with this mixture.

  7. Fry them in the heated oil until they are ready. Serve with fried or mashed potatoes or any other side dish you prefer! Bon appétit!
