Pizza is one of the most popular dishes in the world. Everyone can find a pizza recipe that will meet special preferences and tastes. These 2 recipes are for those, who like the combination of puff pastry and delicious topping. Hurry up to cook it for your loved ones!

Ingredients

  • hard cheese: 100 g
  • champignons: 50 g (washed and chopped)
  • parsley: 1 bunch (roughly chopped)
  • puff pastry: 1 pack (thawed)
  • paprika: 1 pinch (or chili powder)
  • olive oil: 2 Tbsp (extra virgin)
  • onion: 2 piece (medium, chopped)
  • potato: 1 piece (cut into cubes)
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • black pepper: 1 pinch
  • Madras curry powder: 1 tsp
  • grapeseed oil: 3 Tbsp
  • butter: 1 Tbsp
  • canned anchovies: 1 can (drained, rinsed and dried with paper towels)

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 C (356 F) first. While the oven is heating, take a pan and add olive into it. Wait until the oil becomes hot and add champignons. Fry for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms become light brown. Sprinkle with paprika (or chili powder) and remove the pan from the fire.

  2. Cut a piece of puff pastry into 2 equal parts and lay one of them on a baking pan covered with baking paper. Dredge it with cheese, add mushrooms and cook in the oven for 15 minutes. Dredge the readymade pizza with chopped parsley, salt and pepper to reach the desired taste.

  3. While the first puff pastry pizza is being cooked, let’s prepare the topping for the second pizza. Take a frying pan, add oil and fry chopped onion on medium fire for about 7 minutes.

  4. Lower the heat and keep frying onion for about 20 minutes until it becomes light brown. Then remove the frying pan from fire.

  5. Take a small pot, boil water in it and cook the potatoes for about 7 minutes until it becomes tender. Then drain the potatoes and wait until it cools down a bit.

  6. Add Madras curry to the potatoes and mix the ingredients. Then heat the frying pan again and add butter. Fry for 3-4 minutes.

  7. By this time, your first pizza should be ready. Remove it from the oven, take a baking pan and put the second piece of puff pastry on it. Then add onions, potatoes, 2-3 canned anchovies and bake at the same temperature for about 15 minutes. As soon as the second pizza is ready, dredge it with salt and pepper and serve! Bon appétit!
