  • butter: 3 Tbsp (melted)
  • vanilla extract: 0.5 tsp
  • pecan halves: 1 cup
  • recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie: 1 piece

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
