The taste of salmon in the maple syrup with caramelized onion will not leave you indifferent – so exquisite, tasty and unique it is! The fish and the caramelized onion are cooked separately to be further combined in a perfect and aromatic dish! Hurry up to cook it for your loved ones right now!
Switch the oven on 190 C (374 F) to heat it well before baking the fish. Take a small pot and mix maple syrup, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and wine vinegar in it. Warm on small fire for about 3-4 minutes. The syrup should be dense.
Pour the sauce you have cooked on the salmon steaks. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until the steaks are ready.
While the salmon is baking, peel and slice the onion into thin circles.
Put the frying pan on small fire, pour oil inside and bake sesame for a few seconds.
Add onion and mix it with sesame.
Fry on small fire until the onion becomes light brown, stirring it from time to time.
As soon as the onion is ready, add salt and chili pepper. Pour one tablespoon of soy sauce and add honey. Mix everything well and stew for a couple of seconds. Serve the salmon with your favorite side dish. Personally, I recommend mashed potatoes or rice. Bon appétit!
