This healthy quiche recipe will appeal to you and your guests. Its topping consists of shrimps, crab and broccoli, while the aroma of spices adds to its taste and flavor. The dish is very easy to cook, although, it takes time to do that.
Ingredients
- flour: 2 cup
- butter: 50 g
- egg: 5 piece
- ice water: 2 Tbsp
- shrimp: 250 g
- broccoli: 1 piece
- button mushrooms: 6 piece
- shallot: 1 piece (large)
- garlic: 3 clove
- black pepper: 1 pinch
- chives: 1 Tbsp (chopped)
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- heavy cream: 1 cup
- egg: 5 piece
- Monterey Jack cheese: 0.3 cup
- Swiss Cheese: 0.3 cup
- parmesan: 0.25 cup
- Mirin: 1 pinch
- Dijon mustard: 1 Tbsp
- chicken base: 2 tsp
- green onion: 0.5 bunch (small, chopped)
- crab: 450 g

Take a bowl and mix flour with salt in it. Add one egg and butter.

Knead the dough, adding water. Leave in a fridge for about 20 minutes.

Cut the dough into 2 halves. Roll out one piece and put it on the greased pan.

Cover the dough with the foil and bake at 230 C (350F) for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and keep baking for 10 more minutes.

Boil the crab and shrimps. Cool them for a while.

Line the bottom of the pie with the peeled crab and shrimp. Sauté the garlic and shallots in vegetable oil for a few minutes. Add the mushrooms and broccoli, sauté for 6 minutes, adding a bit of water to steam up the broccoli.

Season to taste and add the previous ingredients to the quiche. Add the rest of the ingredients into the topping.

Whisk the ingredients for the egg mixture together.

Pour the mixture into the quiche.

Bake at 230 C (350F) for about 50 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Bon appétit!
