- ground turkey: 2 pound
- onions: 2 piece (chopped)
- green bell pepper: 0.5 cup (chopped)
- red bell pepper: 0.5 cup (chopped)
- serrano Chili pepper: 1 piece (minced)
- chili pepper: 1 piece (minced, fresh)
- garlic: 2 clove (minced)
- ketchup: 2 cups
- barbeque sauce: 1 cup
- cider vinegar: 0.25 cup
- packed brown sugar: 0.25 cup
- prepared mustard: 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce: 1 Tbsp
- italian seasoning: 1 tsp
- onion powder: 1 tsp
- ground black pepper: 0.5 tsp
- hamburger buns: (split)

Cook and stir ground turkey, onions, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, serrano chile pepper, fresh chile pepper, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until the turkey is no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain fat from the turkey mixture.

Stir ketchup, barbeque sauce, cider vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and black pepper into the turkey mixture. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook at a simmer until the vegetables are completely softened, about 20 minutes.
