- butternut squash, peeled and cut into "fries": 1 piece
- olive oil: 2 Tbsp
- five-spice powder: 1 Tbsp
- garlic: 1 Tbsp (minced)
- sea salt: 2 tsp
- black pepper: 2 tsp

Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Place cut squash into a large bowl. Add oil, five-spice powder, garlic, sea salt, and pepper. Toss to coat and place into the air fryer basket.
