This is a very unique sweet potato pie recipe, given to me by my mother. It's quite sweet, with a lighter texture than your typical sweet potato pie. If you like sweet potatoes and you have a sweet tooth, this one's for you!

Ingredients

  • sweet potatoes: 2 piece
  • white sugar: 2 cups
  • evaporated milk: 0.75 cup
  • butter: 0.5 cup (melted)
  • dark corn syrup: 0.25 cup
  • eggs, lightly: 2 piece (beaten)
  • all-purpose flour: 3 Tbsp
  • vanilla extract: 2 tsp
  • apple pie spice: 1 tsp
  • salt: 0.25 tsp
  • unbaked deep dish pie crust: 1 piece (9 inch)
