Stages of cooking
-
Prepare the ingredients for the jelly first. Wash and dry them well before cooking.
-
Peel lime zest and juice the fruit. Then peel tropical fruits and remove the seeds if any. Cut mango and melon into cubes. Slice bananas. Put the ingredients into separate bowls, add 1 pinch of lemon zest, 500 g of sugar and 2 tablespoons of juice into each bowl. Cover the bowls with kitchen film and leave for about 3-6 hours.
-
The fruits will become juicy and soft during this time.
-
Mix all the fruits in one large pot and boil the jelly on small fire, stirring it, for about 20 minutes. Add pectin then and mix the ingredients. Keep boiling for about 5-7 minutes. Prepare the glass jars and spoon the jelly into them.
-
Store your tropical jelly in a fridge! Enjoy!
