An absolutely delicious coleslaw, more tart and tangy than the creamy kind. Can make this up to 2 weeks ahead of serving and it only gets better.

Ingredients

  • medium head cabbage: 1 piece (shredded)
  • red onion: 1 piece (diced)
  • carrots: 1 cup (grated)
  • stalks celery: 2 piece (chopped)
  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • white vinegar: 1 cup
  • vegetable oil: 0.75 cup
  • salt: 1 Tbsp
  • dry mustard: 1 Tbsp
  • black pepper: (to taste)
