This apple pie with cheese soufflé will become the “highlight” of your festive dinner. It can also be a pleasant surprise for your family members. The pie is easy to cook, aromatic and very delicious.
Ingredients
- flour: 1 cup
- butter: 80 g
- egg: 4 piece (1 yolk for the base and 3 eggs for the soufflé)
- sugar: 170 g (20 g for the base and 150 g for the soufflé)
- milk: 1.5 Tbsp
- cottage cheese: 500 g
- sour cream: 100 g
- starch: 40 g
- lemon: 1 piece
- vanilla sugar: 15 g
- apple: 4 piece
- apple jam: 2 Tbsp
- flakes almonds: 2 Tbsp
- sugar powder: 15 g

Mix the egg yolk with sugar, add milk and stir everything well

Melt the butter, add it to the dough and stir once again

Add flour and knead the dough

Take the loose-base cake tin, which should be at least 24 cm in diameter, cover the bottom of it with baking paper, spread the dough with your fingers. Make a few picks using a fork. Bake in the pre-heated to 200 degrees oven for about 10 minutes

Now, it is high time to cook cheese soufflé. Grate the lemon a bit to get lemon zest. Peel the apples and cut them into 8 pieces, then chop the apples. Pour lemon juice above the apples and mix everything well. Sift cottage cheese

Separate the yolks from the whites. Mix the yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar, add sour cream, lemon zest and stir everything well

Add cottage cheese and starch

Add the whipped egg whites to the cheese

Take the baking form away from the oven and cover the base of the pie with ¾ of the chopped apples

Spoon the cheese soufflé and add the rest of the apples to decorate the pie

Bake at 180 degrees for about 50-60 minutes

Cover the pie with apple jam while it is hot
