This easy pork chop recipe is made in the oven without any frying or marinating. The baked chops turn out incredibly flavorful and juicy.
Ingredients
- vegetable oil: 1 Tbsp
- onion: 1 piece (chopped)
- pork chops: 4 piece
- maple syrup: 3 Tbsp
- spicy brown mustard: 3 Tbsp
- garlic: 4 clove (minced, to taste)
- red pepper: 1 tsp (optional)
- chili powder: 1 tsp (optional)
- salt: 0.5 tsp

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with oil.

Scatter onion evenly into the prepared baking dish. Place pork chops on top of onion.

Stir together maple syrup, mustard, garlic, red pepper, chili powder, and salt in a small bowl. Pour evenly over pork chops. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven until chops are no longer pink in the center and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center reads at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), 25 to 30 minutes.
