This spiced rum mojito came after a friend of mine and I were trying to make use of spiced rum. This is our new favorite drink!
Ingredients
- mint leaves: 5 piece
- wedges lime: 3 piece
- ice: 1 cup (crushed)
- simple syrup: 1 tsp
- lime juice: 0.5 tsp
- fluid ounces spiced rum (such as Captain Morgan's®): 2 piece
- fluid ounces cranberry juice: 2 piece
- fluid ounces soda water: 2 piece

Place mint leaves, lime wedges, and ice into a cocktail shaker; mash well with a cocktail muddler. Pour in simple syrup, lime juice, rum, cranberry juice, and soda water. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a chilled glass to serve.
