Grits ... easy, cheesy, and delicious!

Ingredients

  • water: 4 cups
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • uncooked quick-cooking grits: 1 cup
  • cheddar cheese: 1 cup (shredded)
  • Parmesan cheese: 0.5 cup (shredded)
  • butter: 2 Tbsp
  • ground black pepper: (to taste)

  1. Bring water and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Whisk in grits, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook until thickened, 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat.
