Stages of cooking
-
Pre-heat the oven to 180 C (350 F), prepare the ingredients and devices needed to cook the cupcakes.
-
Take a small bowl, sift baking soda and flour. Melt chocolate on a water bath or in a microwave oven. As soon as you are done with the process, set the chocolate aside to let it cool down at a room temperature.
-
Take another bowl and cream the butter in it.
-
Now, add sugar.
-
Then add brown sugar and mix the ingredients well.
-
It is high time to add eggs now. Thoroughly mix the mass after adding each egg.
-
Then add melted chocolate and blend the mass once again to make it smooth.
-
Add sifted baking soda, flour, buttermilk and vanilla essence. Mix the mass one more time.
-
Spoon the batter into the cupcake forms, leaving 1/4 of free space.
-
Bake in the pre-heated oven for about 20-25 minutes. Make sure to check the readiness of cupcakes with a toothpick to prevent them from over burning.
-
While the cupcakes are cooling down, let’s make the frosting. Mix 1 cup of unsalted butter, 4 cups of sugar, milk and vanilla essence in a large bowl. Blend the ingredients well to get creamy mass.
-
Add the rest of sugar and mix once again until the frosting becomes consistent and dense.
-
If you wish, you can add food coloring to the frosting. Now, spread the frosting on each cupcake. Enjoy the dessert!
