Stages of cooking
-
Take a deep bowl and put the dried apricots inside.
-
Pour the apricots with cognac (or any other alcoholic drink) and leave them to soak for a while. If you plan to treat kids with the dessert, then use any syrup or even juice instead of alcoholic drinks.
-
Form round-shaped candies out of marzipan. The number of marzipan balls should equal that of dried apricots.
-
Place marzipan balls inside dried apricots, one at a time.
-
Melt dark chocolate on the water bath.
-
Now, chop or mill the pistachios.
-
Use a toothpick to take a dry apricot, dip it into chocolate and put on the baking paper to dry. Repeat the step until the dried apricots are over.
-
Dredge the candies with chopped or milled pistachios before the chocolate dries out. Serve and enjoy the treat!
