This chocolate trifle is so easy to make! Folks line up for this dessert at church functions.

Ingredients

  • brownie mix: 1 pack (18.25 ounce pack)
  • egg: 1 piece
  • water: 0.75 cup (divided)
  • vegetable oil: 0.25 cup
  • sweetened condensed milk: 1 can (14 ounce can)
  • instant chocolate pudding mix: 1 pack (3.9 ounce pack)
  • frozen whipped topping: 1 container (8 ounce container, thawed)
  • frozen whipped topping: 1 container (12 ounce container, thawed)
  • chocolate candy: 1 bar (1.5 ounce bar)

  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch square glass baking pan.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted 1 inch in from the edges comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely, about 30 mintues.
