Ingredients
- croissants, halved horizontally, left out overnight: 4 piece
- eggs: 3 piece
- half-and-half: 0.5 cup
- white sugar: 1 Tbsp
- vanilla extract: 2 tsp
- ground cinnamon: 0.5 tsp
- salt: 0.25 tsp
- pinch ground nutmeg: 1 piece
- unsalted butter: 2 Tbsp

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C).

Whisk eggs, half-and-half, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg together in a shallow bowl. Dip each croissant half into egg mixture, one at a time, flipping it and lightly pressing down, until well coated.
