This is a great crunchy salad that goes well with spaghetti or steak. The homemade dressing makes it even better!

Ingredients

  • unsalted butter: 0.25 cup
  • uncooked ramen noodles: 1 pack (3 ounce pack, crushed)
  • walnuts: 1 cup (chopped)
  • vegetable oil: 1 cup
  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • red wine vinegar: 0.5 cup
  • soy sauce: 3 tsp
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper: (to taste)
  • heads romaine lettuce: 2 piece (chopped)
  • bunch broccoli: 1 piece (chopped)
  • green onions: 4 piece (chopped)

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir ramen noodles and walnuts until toasted, about 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to a plate lined with paper towels and set aside until cooled.
