These are NOT your grandma's pumpkin seeds! Smokey, sweet, and wonderfully delicious.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups fresh pumpkin seeds: 1 piece
  • whiskey (such as Jack Daniel's®): 0.5 cup
  • bacon drippings: 2 Tbsp
  • dark brown sugar: 1 Tbsp
  • salt, plus more: 2 tsp (to taste)

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
