We have these sausage-stuffed mushrooms at most of our neighborhood gatherings. Everyone always asks for them!
Ingredients
- mushrooms: 24 piece (stems removed, or more if needed)
- bulk hot Italian sausage: 1 pound
- onion: 1 piece (diced)
- ounces grated Parmesan cheese: 4 piece (divided)
- Italian bread crumbs: 0.25 cup
- garlic: 1 tsp (minced)
- fresh parsley: 1 tsp (chopped)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage, onion, and reserved mushroom scrapings until sausage is browned and cooked through, 4 to 6 minutes. Drain and discard grease; return the sausage mixture to the skillet. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
