Ingredients

  • white bread: 2 piece
  • milk: 100 ml
  • egg: 1 piece
  • oil: 2 Tbsp
  • apple: 150 g
  • butter: 20 g
  • brown sugar: 40 g
  • cinnamon: 0.5 tsp

  1. Prepare the filling: wash the apple and cut it into small cubes, removing the core. Combine butter, cinnamon, apples and sugar in a pan. Mix. Cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat. Apples should darken a little and become soft.

  2. Cut bread into thick slices. They must be wide enough to make a cut-pocket where the filling will be folded.

  3. Fill the “pocket” in the bread with apple filling.

  4. Mix the milk and the egg in a bowl, whisk slightly. Heat the pan, grease with a small amount of oil. Dip each toast into the milk-egg mixture, put in the pan. Fry on each side until golden brown. Put ready-made toasts on a plate, cut in half, pour the remaining sauce and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
