Stages of cooking
-
Remove the bones from the fillet and cut it into pieces about 1-1.5 cm each. All in all, the amount of salmon pieces should equal that of sliced bacon. Do not cut off the skin!
-
Now, let’s cook the marinade for the salmon. With this purpose, take a bowl and mix soy sauce, chopped garlic, fennel, cilantro, olive oil and black pepper.
-
Put salmon fillet into the marinade and leave for 15 minutes.
-
Meanwhile, wash the vine leaves, pour them with hot boiling water and leave for about 2 minutes. Do not forget to strain the leaves afterwards.
-
Wrap each piece of salmon fillet into a piece of smoked sliced bacon.
-
Take one vine leaf and put the piece of salmon wrapped in bacon on the edge of it.
-
Wrap the salmon into the leaf well and stitch with the wooden stick. Repeat the step with all the leaves and salmon pieces you have.
-
Grill your salmon pieces for 2 minutes on both sides.
-
If you have a grill pan at home, you are welcome to do the same. The result will still be fantastic!
-
Serve the dish hot and enjoy its unbelievable taste!
