We're making chip chaat! This Indian street food often features crispy fried things topped with all kinds of amazing garnishes. It's by far one of the most delicious foods in the world. So, I decided to try that same approach with potato chips, and I love how this came out.
Ingredients
- ½ cups plain Greek yogurt: 1 piece
- medium limes: 2 piece (juiced)
- tamarind paste: 2 tsp (to taste)
- ½ teaspoons garam masala: 1 piece
- ground cumin: 0.5 tsp
- hot sauce: 2 tsp
- white sugar: 1 tsp
- water: 0.25 cup (or as needed)
- kettle-cooked potato chips: 12 cups
- jalapeño pepper: 0.5 cup (thinly sliced)
- red bell pepper: 0.5 cup (thinly sliced)
- red onion: 0.5 cup (thinly sliced)
- green onion: 0.5 cup (thinly sliced)
- cooked purple potatoes: 1 cup (sliced, optional)
- fresh mint leaves: 1 cup (chopped)
- fresh cilantro leaves: 1 cup (chopped)
- medium limes: 2 piece (halved)
