My grandma's ambrosia salad with pudding mix and canned fruit has become a staple at every holiday dinner.
Ingredients
- pineapple, undrained: 1 can (20 ounce can, crushed)
- instant vanilla pudding mix: 1 pack (3.4 ounce pack)
- fruit cocktail: 2 cans (15 ounce cans, drained)
- mandarin oranges: 2 cans (11 ounce cans, drained)
- frozen whipped topping: 1 container (8 ounce container, thawed)
- sweetened flaked coconut: 2 Tbsp (to taste, optional)

Mix undrained pineapple and pudding mix together in a bowl until smooth, about 2 minutes. Fold in fruit cocktail and oranges, then fold in whipped topping. Sprinkle coconut over top. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, at least 30 minutes.
