  8. Then add the “secret ingredient”, which will make your dish stand out from the crowd. The ingredient we are talking about it… plain white vinegar. Add moresalt if needed and mix the dish carefully.

  9. Now, it is high time to add a couple of turns around the bowls of lime. If you don’t have fresh lime at hand, you can use bottled lime juice. It works fine as well.

History of the Mexican Guacamole:

Guacamole has been a traditional Mexican dish for centuries. It originated with the Aztecs and was initially made with a mortar and pestle, using fresh avocados, tomatoes, and chili peppers. The dish was later introduced to the Spanish conquistadors, who took it back to Europe, where it gained popularity. Today, guacamole is enjoyed all over the world and is a staple in Mexican cuisine.

Tips and Tricks for Mexican Guacamole Recipe:

When making Mexican guacamole, it is important to use ripe avocados. To tell if an avocado is ripe, gently squeeze it. If it yields slightly, it is ripe and ready to use. If it is hard, it needs more time to ripen. To prevent the guacamole from turning brown, add a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice. Also, when combining the ingredients, be sure not to over mix. You want the guacamole to have some texture and be chunky.

Tips for presenting the dish:

Mexican guacamole is a vibrant green color and looks great in a shallow, wide bowl. To add some extra style, you can top the guacamole with fresh chopped tomatoes and cilantro. Serve the guacamole with tortilla chips, crispy veggies, or warm tortillas. You can also pair it with a frozen or on-the-rocks margarita for a refreshing and authentic experience. With its fresh taste and bright colors, Mexican guacamole is sure to impress and delight your guests.
