- Potato gnocchi : 800 g (ready-made)
- shrimp : 400 g
- asparagus : 300 g
- onion : 1 piece
- garlic : 1 clove
- milk : 170 ml
- tomato sauce : 5 Tbsp
- olive oil : 2 Tbsp
- salt : 0.5 tsp
- black pepper : 0.5 tsp
Stages of cooking
Take your ready-made potato gnocchi (they are available on sale these days) and put them into a deep bowl.
Peel the shrimps, separate the tails and make cuts along them as it is shown on the photo.
Take asparagus and wash it well.
Remove the lower part of the asparagus and cut it into short pieces about 1.5-2 cm each.
Warm up olive oil in the deep frying pan, chop onion and garlic and stew on small fire for about 5 minutes.
Add asparagus to the frying pan, stir the vegetables and continue frying for about 3 minutes.
Add shrimps. If they are large, cut them into pieces, the size of which should be the same as the size of the asparagus pieces. Then place the pot with water for your gnocchi on fire.
Wait for a minute and add tomato sauce, salt and pepper to the vegetables and shrimps.
Pour milk into the frying pan and carefully stir the sauce until it becomes dense. If you see that the sauce is too liquid, add 1 tablespoon of starch dissolved in 2-3 tablespoons of water. Stir everything once again and wait until the sauce is ready.
As soon as the water in the pot boils, put your potato gnocchi. Do not forget to add salt. They will be ready in 2-3 minutes. You will know about that when they surface. Take them away using the draining spoon, put into a deep plate, add the sauce and serve hot! The taste and the aroma of the dish will certainly surprise you! Enjoy!
