This red, white, and blue cake makes a spectacular Fourth of July dessert! Present it at night with a couple of sparklers for the best effect! You can make this with shortcake mix or yellow cake mix.

Ingredients

  • yellow cake mix: 1 pack (15.25 ounce pack)
  • frozen whipped topping: 1 container (8 ounce container, thawed)
  • pint blueberries: 1 piece (drained)
  • pints fresh strawberries, rinsed and: 2 piece (sliced)

  1. Prepare cake according to package directions and bake in a 9x13-inch pan. Cool completely.
