- leeks: 8 piece (halved)
- extra-virgin olive oil: 1 Tbsp
- Salt: 0 g
- Freshly ground black pepper: 0 g

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the leeks on the prepared baking sheet, brush each side of the leeks with the olive oil, and position them cut-side down. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Roast for 10 minutes, flip the leeks over, and roast for another 10 minutes, or until slightly browned and tender.
