This is an elegantly simple way to cook ahi tuna steaks that any restaurant would be jealous of! Serve with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

  • ahi tuna steaks: 2 piece (5 ounce)
  • kosher salt: 1 tsp
  • cayenne pepper: 0.25 tsp (optional)
  • butter: 0.5 Tbsp
  • olive oil: 2 Tbsp
  • whole peppercorns: 1 tsp
