This simple but amazing teriyaki sauce is great for chicken, fish, or meat dishes. I will add a Japanese flavor to noodle stir fries or rice dishes, and can also be used as a dip for dumplings or shrimp.
Ingredients
- water: 1 cup
- soy sauce: 0.25 cup
- packed brown sugar: 5 tsp
- honey: 1 Tbsp (to taste)
- ground ginger: 0.5 tsp
- garlic powder: 0.25 tsp
- cornstarch: 2 Tbsp
- water: 0.25 cup (cold)
