- salt and pepper: (to taste)
- medium onion: 1 piece (sliced)
- beer: 1 can (12 fluid ounce can)
- tomato-based chili sauce: 1 bottle (12 ounce bottle)
- packed brown sugar: 0.75 cup

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
