Easy, quick Spanish rice in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • ground beef or chuck: 2 pound
  • whole peeled tomatoes: 1 can (28 ounce can)
  • green bell peppers: 2 piece (chopped)
  • water: 1 cup
  • tomato sauce: 1 can (8 ounce can)
  • onions: 2 piece (chopped)
  • uncooked converted rice: 1 cup
  • ½ teaspoons salt: 2 piece
  • ½ teaspoons chili powder: 2 piece
  • Worcestershire sauce: 2 tsp

  1. Place ground beef in a large skillet. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Transfer beef to a slow cooker.

  2. Combine tomatoes, green pepper, water, tomato sauce, onions, rice, salt, chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce in the slow cooker. Stir thoroughly.
