A delicious blend of roasted nuts soaked in vanilla and coated with cinnamon and nutmeg for a sweet and savory snack.

Ingredients

  • pure vanilla extract: 1 Tbsp (none)
  • water: 0.5 cup (none)
  • crushed raw cashews: 0.5 cup (none)
  • crushed raw almonds: 0.5 cup (none)
  • ground cinnamon: 1 Tbsp (none)
  • ground nutmeg: 1 tsp (none)

  1. Combine vanilla extract and water in a medium mixing bowl and stir. Add nuts and allow to soak 12 hours or overnight. Remove nuts from water and spread out on a paper towel. Allow to dry 3 hours.

  2. Preheat oven to 200°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Place nuts in a medium bowl and add cinnamon and nutmeg. Toss to coat.

  4. Spread nuts out on lined baking sheet and bake 3 hours. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

  5. Transfer to an airtight container and store until ready to eat.
