I love to use this as a dip for pita bread.
Ingredients
- tahini: 0.25 cup
- olive oil: 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice: 1 Tbsp
- garlic: 1 Tbsp (minced)
- cayenne pepper: 1 tsp
- ground cumin: 0.5 tsp
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- sesame oil: 0.25 tsp
- dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Cholula®): 5 piece
- garbanzo beans: 1 can (15 ounce can, drained and rinsed)
- water: 2 Tbsp (cold)

Combine tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cayenne pepper, cumin, salt, sesame oil, and hot sauce in a food processor or blender; blend until very smooth, about 3 minutes. Add garbanzo beans and blend for 2 minutes. Add water and blend for 3 minutes more. Chill in refrigerator.
