Ingredients

  • nonstick cooking spray:
  • russet potatoes: 10 piece (cubed)
  • whole milk: 0.5 cup
  • butter: 0.25 cup (softened)
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • ground black pepper: 0.5 tsp
  • garlic powder: 0.5 tsp
  • cheddar cheese: 2 cups (divided, shredded)
  • sour cream: 1 container (8 ounce container)
  • cream cheese, softened and: 1 pack (8 ounce pack, cubed)
  • slices bacon, cooked, crumbled, and: 8 piece (divided)
  • chives: 0.25 cup (divided, chopped)

  1. Gather ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios

  2. Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios

  4. Stir in 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, 3/4 of the bacon, and 2 tablespoons of chives. Spread potato mixture in the prepared baking dish. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
