This watermelon basil salad is best served chilled. The chili powder plays well with the sweetness of the melon.
Ingredients
- basil leaves: 0.25 cup
- 1/2-inch cubes watermelon: 4 cups
- lemon juice: 2 tsp
- kosher salt: 0.25 tsp (to taste)
- chili powder: 0.25 tsp

Stack basil leaves on top of each other and roll tightly into a log. Slice lengthwise into thin ribbons.

Combine basil slices and watermelon in a large bowl. Drizzle lemon juice over watermelon.
