Gratin is a dish we usually call a casserole: cooked in the oven, it's covered with a delicious cheese crust of golden color on top. The name "graten" comes from the French "gratin" - a crust. Stages of cooking
-
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Onions cut into very thin quarter-rings.
-
Preheat pan with olive oil. Quickly fry the onions until golden brown. Put it to a bowl.
-
In the same pan, fry the ground turkey for 10-15 minutes. Return the onions to the pan and heat together with the minced meat for one minute. Salt, pepper, remove from fire.
-
Zucchini cut into thin half rings. Boil water. Fold the zucchini in a saucepan and add water so that it only covers the vegetables. Salt and put on medium-heavy fire for 5 minutes.
-
Meanwhile, grate the cheese. Mix the cheese with cream and Provence herbs.
-
Drain the water from the zucchini, wait until the water runs out and the zucchini cools down a bit. If your pan is not suitable for use in the oven, put the ground turkey in a baking dish and smooth it with a spatula. Lay the zucchini slices on top.
-
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the zucchini layer. Put the zucchini gratin in the oven for 20 minutes - until the cheese melts and turns into a golden crust on a casserole.
