I modified Beatrice's Excellent Oatmeal cookies very slightly. I came up with these chocolate chip oatmeal cookies that my boyfriend went CRAZY over! I've never seen him enjoy cookies to that extent! He said I blew his mother's recipe away.
Ingredients
- butter: 1 cup (softened)
- packed light brown sugar: 1 cup
- white sugar: 0.5 cup
- eggs: 2 piece
- vanilla extract: 2 tsp
- ¼ cups all-purpose flour: 1 piece
- baking soda: 0.5 tsp
- salt: 1 tsp
- quick-cooking oats: 3 cups
- walnuts: 1 cup (chopped)
- semisweet chocolate chips: 1 cup
