This recipe is perfect for those busy days when you need a quick and simple meal. All you need is some uncooked regular long-grain white rice and a few other basic ingredients, and you'll have a delicious and filling meal in no time!

  • olive oil: 1 Tbsp
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • black pepper: 0.5 tsp

  1. Rinse the rice in cold water, then drain and set aside.

  2. In a medium-sized pot, bring the 2 cups of water to a boil.

  3. Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed rice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  5. Bring the mixture back to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid.
