Classic chicken adobo recipe that's simple to make and loved by all who try it. It has been modified to be a bit saucier than traditional adobo and is delicious served over rice.
Ingredients
- vegetable oil: 2 Tbsp
- chicken: 1 piece (3 pound, cut into pieces)
- onion, quartered and: 1 piece (sliced)
- garlic: 2 Tbsp (minced)
- low sodium soy sauce: 0.66667 cup
- white vinegar: 0.33333 cup
- garlic powder: 1 Tbsp
- black pepper: 2 tsp
- bay leaf: 1 piece

Pour in soy sauce and vinegar and season with garlic powder, black pepper, and bay leaf.
