My Granna would often make a dessert called "pumpkin something" - it often was in the dessert lineup at Thanksgiving and is especially delicious served with fresh whipped cream!
Ingredients
- milk: 1 cup
- white sugar: 1 cup
- eggs: 3 piece
- ground cinnamon: 1 tsp
- ground ginger: 0.25 tsp
- ground cloves: 0.125 tsp
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- ½ cups pumpkin puree: 3 piece
- yellow cake mix: 1 pack (15.25 ounce pack)
- pecans: 1 cup (chopped)
- butter: 0.75 cup (melted)
- whipped heavy cream: 1 cup (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Whisk milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, and pumpkin together in a large bowl. Pour into the prepared baking dish.

Sprinkle cake mix and pecans on top of mixture; drizzle melted butter over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven until browned on top, about 1 hour. Serve with freshly whipped cream.
