Sautéed bok choy is one of the most delicious ways to prepare this green vegetable. Tender bulbs and leaves are a great match for rice or soup dishes.
Ingredients
- extra-virgin olive oil: 1 Tbsp
- garlic: 2 clove (minced)
- fresh ginger: 1 tsp (chopped)
- red pepper flakes: 0 piece (pinch)
- bok choy: 1 pack (trimmed and coarsely chopped)
- water: 2 Tbsp (optional)

In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, or until fragrant.

Add the bok choy and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the desired doneness.

To make the bok choy more tender, add 2 tablespoons of water, cover, and steam for another 2 to 3 minutes.
