This mint chocolate chip ice cream recipe is one that I discovered by accident. I think the 2% milk makes the ice cream taste lighter.

Ingredients

  • 2% milk: 2 cups
  • heavy cream: 2 cups
  • sugar: 1 cup
  • vanilla extract: 1 tsp
  • peppermint extract: 1 tsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • drops green food coloring: 3 piece (optional)
  • miniature semisweet chocolate chips: 1 cup
