Ingredients

  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • butter: 0.5 cup
  • egg: 1 piece
  • all-purpose flour: 2 cups
  • baking soda: 1 tsp
  • baking powder: 1 tsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • ground cloves: 0.5 tsp (optional)
  • fresh figs: 1 cup (chopped)
  • walnuts: 0.5 cup (chopped)

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease baking sheets.
